Helped client re-architect flagship enterprise application from VB6/COM+ based, client-server architecture, to a Service Oriented Architecture to meet performance and application integration goals. Project involved re-factoring code to a web services layer that leveraged the Microsoft EDRA framework and BizTalk. Designed services layer, authentication and authorization implementation strategy, workflow implementation, document tracking mechanism, and data transfer schemas.
